Brett Weatherington, DDS

Dr. Weatherington is a dedicated periodontist proudly serving the San Diego community, not far from where he grew up in North County. He specializes in periodontics and implant dentistry, bringing a deep understanding and commitment to his patients.

His strong educational background includes a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, where he also completed his advanced residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and was honored with the Outstanding Clinician Award. Dr. Weatherington is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a testament to his pursuit of excellence in his specialty.

Beyond private practice, Dr. Weatherington is an Assistant Professor in Periodontics at the Postgraduate Dental College USUHS and the Division Head for Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Center, Naval Base San Diego. He actively contributes to his field as a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Western Society of Periodontics, and many other professional societies. Dr. Weatherington also shares his expertise as a consultant for numerous biomaterials companies and is currently advancing his knowledge in artificial intelligence in healthcare via a certificate program at Yale University.
